Over time Home-Entertainment grew from singular TVs and Sound-Systems to complex Ecosystem-Solutions by uniting visual-, audio- and in recent times online media. "LOEWE" as a renowned Home-Entertainment company has an inherent interest in managing these growing complex systems with new approaches and technologies.

Older approaches oftentimes tried to combine elements form different remote controls into a singular ones or slim down controls by assigning multiple actions to the same buttons. Both solutions can cause confusion by overtaxing the user visually with an overcrowded interface or lack definition due to the sameness of inputs.

»Prisma« is a concept combining a RFID sensitive tablet with a physically manipulatable object. The different sides of the prism are defined by placing a chip into each of the corners. (↬pic. 4) Unique chip signatures define the position of the objet to present different control elements on the tablet's screen. (↬pic. 7) The secondary rotation input are used for scrolling, volume etc. inside defined primary modes.

The combination of physical manipulation and the universal screen of the tablet aim towards clustering overwhelming information into understandable subsections. In conjunction a reassuring interaction experience is provided for a secure feeling navigating through the ecosystem.
